Terroir

A slope, a river,
an old assumption.

The Târnave valley has grown wine since before it grew Romania. Our fourteen hectares are on the south-facing slope above the Mureș, on marl and clay, at four hundred meters. We are cool, later than most, and quieter.

The winemaker's hand

"We press gently, ferment with our own yeasts, and bottle when the wine says so. The rest is patience, and a cellar cold enough to reward it."
